...call me Anni,
I am a packaging designer who also specialises in breathing life into brand positionings, trends and research stimulus. I have collected a unique and extensive library of relevant images and have unparalleled experience in turning bald verbal statements into stunning visuals that communicate in a multisensory way.
I am also known as the Moodboard Queen.
Specialising in:
Visual positioning,
Trend visualisation,
Research stimulus,
Visual equity analyses,
& of course Moodboards
I Have worked in Packaging design For the past 5 years I’ve worked in Branding as a graphic designer for a leading agency in FMCG design. Through my time there I covered all aspects of the design process from first stage brainstorming and strategy to working alongside our production team, preparing designs for print. At the end of 2007 I was given the opportunity to expand my job role into Visual Insight, my vision was a role that is totally design focused but is split so that I still have the opportunity to design but also the opportunity to develop my natural talent for being a great source of inspiration. This includes Trends Forecasting; with extensive audits in New York and London on the future in graphics and fashion, and Visual Planning, defining the words into pictures, graphics and packcepts.
Please take a good look at my blog if you feel i can add the va va voom to your next project please contact me:

Designers get in the Christmas spirit
Christmas is nearly here yeepeee. And, as ever, I get so excited to see enterprising creative types creating lovely cards and other seasonal treats for fans of their work. Here are a few of our favourite such Christmassy things so far this year...
Entitled Chistmas Declarations, the grenade baubles are meant to remind people that despite the joy of Christmas, all is not rosy in the world.
Last year the Christmas By Colour project saw the good folk at Raw Design ask a host of designers and image makers to submit a pantone reference to a colour they felt summed up the festive season. GF Smith provided the paper that allowed CBC to print posters showcasing the results of the submissions they received. This year CBC asked which of a selection of 40 pantones which featured on last year's poster were peoples favourite - the top 12 have been made into Christmas cards - which are available this year in two different packs of six:
Paper company Fedrigoni turned to Studio8 to design their 2010 calendar, which takes the form of a pile of coloured paper, a sheet for every day of the year. A number representing the date is perfed into each sheet meaning users can push it out and stand it up on the top of the pile each morning...

I spent the night last week at The Hoxton Hotel and managed to get a few snaps of Benedict Radcliffe's new wire-frame Lamborghini sculpture on display. Being nestled in the central hub of this inspiring area, The Hoxton Hotel always feels it's important for them to use their public spaces to showcase not only local but international artists who characterise what Hoxton has become known for.
